Aerosmith is back in the top 10.

The Rock & Roll Hall of Famers’ EP with Yungblud, One More Time, debuted at #9 on the Billboard 200 Albums chart this week, moving 39,000 equivalent album units. Of that number, 37,000 were in traditional album sales, landing the EP at #3 on the Top Album Sales chart.

The EP is now Aerosmith’s 10th top-10 album and their first since their last release, 2012’s Music From Another Dimension!, which landed at #5.

Aerosmith earned their first Billboard top-10 album in 1976 with Rocks. With the release of the new EP, they now have had a top-10 album in every decade between the 1970s through the 2020s, becoming the second band and fifth act overall to land such a feat.

They join The Rolling Stones as the only other band to have top-10 albums in the ’70s, ’80s, ’90s, 2000s, 2010s and 2020s. Paul McCartney, Bruce Springsteen and James Taylor are the only other acts to have done so.

Aerosmith had their most success in the ’90s and 2000s, where they landed three top-10 hits each decade, including two #1s: 1993’s Get A Grip and 1997’s Nine Lives.

Meanwhile, over in the U.K., One More Time did even better: It debuted at #1 on the Official Albums Chart, making it Aerosmith’s first U.K. #1.

Queen is wrapping their five-part Queen the Greatest YouTube series with the release of a special “Bohemian Rhapsody” video.

To mark the 50th anniversary of the song’s nine-week run on top of the U.K. singles chart, Queen has released “The ‘Bohemian Rhapsody’ 360 Experience,” a video that features moving images of the band performing the song live, the track’s original promotional video, on-screen lyrics and more.

In order to get the full 360-degree experience, folks on a laptop or desktop computer simply need to hold and drag their mouse to move through all the visuals in the clip, while those on a smartphone can turn their screen sideways and move the phone for the different clips. VR viewers can also get the 360-degree experience by putting their phone into their viewer to immerse themselves in the video.

As a press release notes, the new video “invites viewers to open their eyes, look up to the skies and see.”

“Bohemian Rhapsody,” from Queen’s #1 album A Night at the Opera, was the band’s first #1 single. The six-minute operatic tune, written by Freddie Mercury, was rereleased in 1991 following Mercury’s death.

The music of Foo Fighters will be celebrated during the Cleveland Browns’ upcoming Rock & Roll Hall of Fame game.

Huntington Bank Field’s Dawg Pound Drive will feature a Foo-themed stage and branded drinks, and will feature a performance by a classic rock cover band. You’ll also be able to take a photo with a smashed Foo-branded guitar, which nods to the Browns’ pregame guitar smash tradition.

Rapper Big Boi, who’s part of the Rock Hall’s 2025 class of inductees as a member of Outkast, will perform at halftime.

The Rock & Roll Hall of Fame game, which will feature the Browns taking on the visiting San Francisco 49ers, takes place Sunday.

Meanwhile, another 2025 Rock Hall inductee, Jack White, will be performing during halftime when his hometown Detroit Lions take on the visiting Green Bay Packers on Thanksgiving Day. White was inducted as a member of The White Stripes.

Foo Fighters will perform at Huntington Bank Field in August as part of their 2026 U.S. stadium tour.

Kirk Hammett’s Back to the Beginning guitar sells for over $76K

The Gibson SG Custom guitar played by Metallica‘s Kirk Hammett during the massive Back to the Beginning concert has sold at auction for $76,800.

The winning bid dramatically exceeded the estimated price of the guitar, which was set between $4,000 and $6,000.

Kirk played the guitar during Metallica’s Back to the Beginning set for a cover of Black Sabbath‘s “Hole in the Sky.” The concert, which took place July 5, ended with a performance from the original Sabbath lineup: Ozzy Osbourne, Tony Iommi, Geezer Butler and Bill Ward.

The show was announced as Ozzy’s final live performance ahead of time, and his promise was sadly fulfilled upon his death just over two weeks later on July 22.

Hammett’s guitar was part of Julien’s Auctions’ Played, Worn, & Torn sale, which also included the infamous safe from which the Tommy Lee/Pamela Anderson sex tape was stolen. That safe, which was estimated to go for between $5,000 and $7,000, went for $2,560.

An early demo of the Talking Heads’ classic “Psycho Killer” is part of the band’s Record Store Day Black Friday release, Tentative Decisions: Demos and Live, and drummer Chris Frantz is happy fans are getting to hear it.

The song was recorded in the early ’70s when he and bandmates David Byrne and Tina Weymouth were a cover band, The Artistics, playing on the Rhode Island School of Design campus.

“I think the real fans will recognize the songs in their demo form,” Frantz told The Boston Globe. He notes “it was three amateurs in front of one microphone in a dusty apartment on Benefit Street, so technologically it’s not brilliant or anything like that. Quite the opposite.”

He adds, “But it’s got an excitement to it and it’s got a real, I think, rock ‘n’ spirit. I’m very happy with it.”

The Record Store Day release also includes The Artistics’ demo of the More Songs about Buildings and Food track “Warning Signs,” as well as other tracks recorded by the trio between 1975 and 1976.

“In our early years in New York before we made any records, you can see the songs evolving over time, and they really did evolve as we got better and more refined in our listening and our thinking,” Frantz said. “I’m very happy that this is coming out because it’s, you know, to me, it’s an important cultural artifact.”
