A new Grammy-sponsored charity auction has been launched in celebration of the holiday season that’s offering autographed collectibles signed by music stars including Police members Sting and Stewart Copeland, Fleetwood Mac‘s Christine McVie, and Red Hot Chili Peppers drummer Chad Smith.
Among the many items up for bid are autographed vinyl copies of Sting’s The Dream of the Blue Turtles album and McVie’s 1984 self-titled solo album, as well as a copy of Red Hot Chili Peppers’ Californication signed by Smith.
The auction also features a drum head autographed by Def Leppard drummer Rick Allen, and separate Grammy Museum posters signed by Copeland, Todd Rundgren and Edgar Winter.
In addition, bidders also will have the opportunity to score tickets to 2020 MusiCares Person of the Year tribute honoring Aerosmith on January 24, as well as the chance to attend the 62nd annual Grammy Awards on January 26.
The eBay auction runs through Wednesday, December 11. All proceeds go to benefit the Grammy Museum or MusiCares, the charitable arm of the Recording Academy.
