The track, which Rocker wrote and produced, will be accompanied by a video. Also contributing to the song are his solo band mates, including his son, Justin, on backing vocals and harmonica.

Meanwhile, Lee will be playing a variety of North American concerts in the coming weeks, and he also has lined up 11 U.S. shows in 2020 that stretch through a May 15 performance in Wilmington, North Carolina.

Rocker tells ABC Audio, “[W]hat I do with [my solo] band is I picked songs from throughout my 40-year career. Of course, Stray Cat stuff, but other Lee Rocker songs [too].”

He continues, “[I] really thought back and into the future and some new songs…and developed a concert…where I tell some stories and get behind the music as well as play the music, of course. So it’s a concert…plus some storytelling, and some video and stills.”

Lee also plays various covers from the rockabilly era at his shows, including Carl Perkins‘ “Honey Don’t,” the Elvis Presley hits “That’s All Right Mama” and “Blue Moon of Kentucky,” and Johnny Burnette‘s “Rockabilly Boogie.”

Fans also can get a taste of Rocker’s solo show by checking out his latest album, The LOW Road, which was recorded in 2017 at Daryl Hall‘s club Daryl’s House in Pawling, New York.

“I loved how it came out,” he tells ABC Audio. “[T]hat’s a record I’m really proud of.” The LOW Road is available on CD and vinyl at Lee’s online store.
