Heart‘s Love Alive Tour kicks off tonight in the St. Louis suburb of Maryland Heights, Missouri, marking the first time the Wilson sisters and their band have hit the road together in nearly three years.

The lengthy North American trek, which is plotted out all the way through an October 13 concert in St. Paul, Minnesota, will feature a variety of different female or female-fronted support acts, including Joan Jett & the Blackhearts, Sheryl Crow, Elle King and Brandi Carlile.

As the start of the trek approaches, a series of videos featuring Heart singer Ann Wilson and guitarist Nancy Wilson have been posted on the band’s social media sites.  In one clip, Ann discusses her excitement about heading on tour again.

“I can’t wait to get back to it,” she declares. “I mean, I always say [when I’m on tour] that I want to go home and just watch the ants crawl across the driveway, and that’s good for…maybe a week, and then I start sort of climbing the walls.”

In a separate video, Nancy talks about the Love Alive Tour is special because of the long break the band took since its last trek.

“I think it’s gonna be really big to be with my sister again, and…fulfilling and fun to play and be together,” Nancy maintains, “and exchange that enormous, powerful energy between us and the people that come to see us.”

Crow and British singer/songwriter Lucie Silvas will serve as opening acts at tonight’s show, the first of more than 50 concerts on the trek. Here are all of the Love Alive Tour dates:
