Ozzy Osbourne is going from Prince of Darkness to Troll King.
The metal legend is lending his signature voice to the upcoming animated film Trolls World Tour, the sequel to 2016’s Trolls. He’ll be playing King Thrash, who, along with his daughter Queen Barb — voiced by Crazy Ex-Girlfriend‘s Rachel Bloom — is on a mission to “destroy all other kinds of music to let rock reign supreme,” which sound like the plot of Gene Simmons fever dream.
The first movie’s stars, Anna Kendrick and Justin Timberlake, will return to reprise their roles as Poppy and Branch, while the rest of the voice cast includes Mary J. Blige, James Corden, Kelly Clarkson and Sam Rockwell, among others.
Trolls World Tour will hit theaters April 17, 2020.
You can also hear Ozzy’s voice talents in the 2011 film Gnomeo & Juliet and its 2018 sequel, Sherlock Gnomes.
