35 years after wearing team's logo in his mug shot, Ozzy Osbourne congratulates St. Louis Blues on Stanley Cup win

ABC/Randy HolmesIn May 1984, Ozzy Osbourne famously wore a St. Louis Blues shirt in a mugshot taken after he was arrested for public intoxication in Memphis, Tennessee. Now, 35 years later, the hockey team has just won its first Stanley Cup, and the Prince of Darkness is donning the blue and gold once more.

“Congrats @StLouisBlues on your #StanleyCup win!,” Ozzy tweeted, alongside a photo of himself in a current Blues jersey.

The Blues took home the Stanley Cup after beating the Boston Bruins 4-1 in Wednesday’s Game 7.

Ozzy, meanwhile, is home recovering after suffering a fall earlier this year.  The spill aggravated injuries he sustained in a 2003 ATV accident and forced him to postpone all of his tour dates this year to 2020.
