Following last year’s successful theatrical release of Green Day‘s California punk rock documentary, Turn It Around: The Story of East Bay Punk, the band is set to drop a DVD/Blu-Ray for home viewing, as well as a double-vinyl and cassette soundtrack.

The documentary is narrated by Iggy Pop, and features Green Day frontman Billie Joe Armstrong, Metallica lead guitarist Kirk Hammett, Rancid frontman Tim Armstrong, Bikini Kill’s Kathleen Hanna, Fugazi‘s Ian Mackaye and interviews with over 100 additional artists and musicians from California’s vintage East Bay punk music scene. The film was executive-produced by Green Day, and covers more than 30 years of punk history.

The soundtrack is available on double vinyl or double cassette, and features the opening and closing credit songs from the documentary and 35 mostly rare, unreleased or out-of-print tracks from Green Day, Rancid, Neurosis, Operation Ivy, Jawbreaker, Pinhead Gunpowder and others.

The documentary and soundtrack are available for pre-order on the 1-2-3-4 Records website, and will be sold at all the usual outlets starting on June 22.
